This innovative profile (similar to the regular Curve L) is larger than conventional round hoops and offers wheelchair users with triceps function (still hand function) a gripping surface that is optimized to exert significantly more pressure on the hoop. As a result, moving the wheelchair on a level road and especially uphill requires less physical effort, while being much less stressful on the joints. Together with the extremely durable anti-slip layer, the hoops make driving and controlling your wheelchair much safer. When braking, the larger gripping surface helps to distribute the pressure much better and thus reduce heat development. The Curve L Tetra is also available in a smaller variant, the Curve Tetra (without further additions)
